Any blog post that starts with a title such as "Predictions for next year" it already lacks any originality, as this is a line picked by most of the blogs. It seems it is a nice way to write something and make sure the blog stays up-to-date. And usually this blogs are not very interesting for those of us deep inside the industry, as everything we read sounds either redundant or redundant. But his one, has some interesting points on security, which, again they repeat some of the concepts many times argued in the telecom industry. Still, we find it useful to point to the fact that security surely involves undoubtedly cooperation. We would all agree —we leave no room for debate here— that the business models around IoT and 5G are all about cooperation and that no one alone can compete effectively in this new environment. Having a set of partners and being open to identify new ones are key attributes to remain relevant. Then, why when it comes to security, cooperation is lagging behind?
