This is an interesting post blog about the implementation of DevOps in organizations that need to develop software assets, as it should be the operators’ plan. In addition to continuing the debate about “speed” versus “security”, presented by DevOps, the author presents the Bi-Modal IT concept. The reflection is especially interesting for operators who must not only reform their IT department, but the entire organizational culture. DevOps is presented as a model that should complement the migration to SDN and NFV based networks, since this model will allow the operators to reach the development speeds that already have the players against which they will be competing: over the top (OTT) providers.
The Urgency for DevOps Adoption
