The author of the post claims that they have come up with a new term called “IoT Micro Clouds”. They, rightfully so, believe that the IoT ecosystem cannot rely only on centralized clouds as some applications will need low latency, more security and would need to use resources locally. And the term “IoT Micro Clouds” sounds somewhat original, depending on your definition of creativity, but in fact, we think the author means Fog Computing, a concept, which is fairly new when it comes to IoT and the cloud.
