The presentation describes an entry point to a 5G system, where verticals can define and instantiate their vertical services. Verticals may select from a catalog of vertical service blueprints and provide the missing information before actually requesting the deployment of the services. This allows verticals to define their services in one place without having to become experts in service orchestration.

We show examples of such vertical service blueprints. Completed descriptions of vertical services are processed by the vertical slicer, which maps vertical services to network slices considering the service level requirements of the vertical services. Several vertical services may compete for the same resources, the vertical slicer arbitrates resources among different vertical services.
